The devil is not as bad as they make it out to be. Not so terrible is the disease that clutches and strangles, torments and kills. Man is stronger than all the diseases that exist. He is strong with his mind – a divine gift of nature. When this divinity is used skillfully, rationally, then all problems are solved easily, including health problems.
My first piece of advice: don’t look for salvation from illness somewhere, from someone else. Your doctor is inside of you. Hippocrates warned about this as far back as the 4th century BC.
Second tip: refrain from eating. Free your body from the heavy load of digesting food. Such abstinence is scientifically called dosed fasting, in the language of doctors – unloading-diet therapy, and in the folk language – therapeutic fasting.
Starvation is not a cure. It is a biological law of nature, which allows the body to switch all the vital forces from digesting food to cleansing the body from years of accumulated toxic poisons, slags, mucus, salts and other garbage. This dirt accumulates in trillions of cells in our body.
During fasting 90 g of dirt comes out with one liter of urine, during exhalation the lungs release more than 150 gas poisons, through 96 million pores of the skin with moisture and sweat a huge amount of slag comes out, through the tongue poisons poisoning internal organs are released. It is necessary to remember that in a clean body there are no diseases, diseases appear with the accumulation of dirt in the body. This is a natural truth.
Paul Bragg talks about the power of fasting in his book “The Miracle of Fasting”, Herbert Shelton in his book “Fasting will save your life”, Y.S. Nikolaev in his book “Fasting for Health” and many others. Starvation is a science. And it should be carried out under the strict supervision of a practitioner.
Third tip: learn how to fast and starve yourself for your health and long life. It is scientifically proven that 99% of diseases are cured by cleansing with the help of fasting. Hence the moral: beat your stomach – beat the disease.
A person can not get sick, not age prematurely and live a very long time if he follows the laws of nature, where the first row is purification through fasting.
There are a fair number of modifications of wet and dry fasting, but the main thing in all of them is the complete avoidance of any food or water.
This allows the body to switch to a completely new type of functioning, while activating unique deep mechanisms that were previously dormant. Each type of fasting has its advantages and disadvantages. On this site I will give you information about the most effective types of fasting from my practical point of view. But the choice should always remain with you.
Remember the main thing–taking in minimal food calories, and in some cases, being around food, does not allow the body to fully switch to internal nutrition and never fully engage these deep healing mechanisms.
In this article, I want to tell a little about myself, and how I, in the course of my medical practice came to this amazing, natural method of treatment.
I was born in Altai into a family of doctors. My mother and older sister are pediatricians. Therefore, as a child, I was constantly faced with talk about medicine. It would seem that with such an “anamnesis” I was on the straight path to medicine. Subsequently, it happened. But… All my conscious childhood and adolescence I simply raved not at all medicine. I wanted to be, probably, like all the boys in our yard, a pilot. One day my father and I went skiing. After the walk we went to a friend’s house for tea, and there for the first time in my life I saw a man with cancer. He was very thin and in a lot of pain. It made a very strong impression on me. When we arrived home, I asked my mother, “Is there really no cure for this disease? She replied, “Unfortunately, my son, our medicine is powerless at this stage”.
In eighth grade, I happened to get my hands on a book, even now I don’t remember the name of it. It described how a talented folk healer cured a man’s cancer with herbs and starvation. So, the body has reserves and forces capable of treating such a serious and insidious disease like cancer, I thought. For every poison in nature there must be an antidote. For every disease, there must be forces in the body that heal it. After all, animals in nature do not have hospitals, clinics and doctors. They are guided by their natural natural instincts. They know better than any herbalists what herb they need at a given moment, or they just start starving. From that time on, I became more interested in natural ways of wellness. I started reading books about fasting, hypnosis, herbs, acupuncture. I began to understand more and more: a human being is a natural pharmacy, he has everything in him to cure any disease, you just have to use your labor, patience, and will to discover and make these natural medicines work for the benefit of your body.
My decision to enter medical school was a conscious one, but I realized that I would not be interested in sitting in a polyclinic and prescribing pills. I had to find a specialty and get such knowledge with the help of which my future patients would be able to use their huge latent abilities to treat diseases. In my fourth year, I was assigned a patient with bronchial asthma. When I entered her room, I saw a blooming woman, with a rosy blush on her face and shining eyes. She didn’t look like an asthma patient at all. I wanted to apologize and say that I had mixed up the ward, but then I asked her surname, first name and patronymic again. It turned out to be her. “You should not be surprised,” she said, “that I am so different from asthma patients, because I have undergone a twenty-day course of therapeutic fasting, and now I am already at the end of the fast. After the tenth day of fasting, my attacks stopped completely and I stopped using my inhaler.” Her look, her breathing really hit me hard. It is one thing to read books about fasting, and another thing to see the results of fasting in practice. After that I definitely decided that I would definitely learn everything about this wonderful method and specialize in it.
Professor Y.S. Nikolaev wrote the best book about therapeutic fasting at that time. His book was written with such enthusiasm and faith in this natural method that after reading it one would like to fast. My whole group fasted with me. We started fasting on juices, then tried it on water. Of course, then most of my group gave it up. I liked fasting before exams – after fasting my head became light and clear, my memory improved a lot, and the most important thing was that I went to exams without any worries.
After graduating from medical school, I was assigned to the Goryachinsk resort, which was located in the Republic of Buryatia on the shore of the sacred Lake Baikal. The nature and beauty of these places fascinated me, especially the energy and severity of Lake Baikal. Working at the resort, I was lucky to meet a very interesting person – Verbul Vladimir Romanovich. He had severe bronchial asthma and was the first in Buryatia to starve himself for twenty-four days at home. His coworkers at work were amazed at the result of the therapeutic fasting they saw. Together they decided to invite Prof. Y.S. Nikolaev to Buryatia. When the professor came to our republic, he was brought to our Goryachinsk resort. It was there that my meeting with this amazing man took place.
Yuri Sergeyevich liked our resort and nature very much. He said: “You have an ideal place and conditions for therapeutic fasting at Baikal”. He invited me to Moscow to study in his department of RDT (Relief Diet Therapy). After studying in Moscow we opened a department of RDT at our resort. Of course, it was hard for me to start – our staff was skeptical about fasting and they even called me “hungry doctor”. I remember, when my first patient came to the canteen to come out of fasting, the diet nurse brought cold salted millet porridge and said “eat it”, of course he remembered all my recommendations and waited for me. And if he had eaten that porridge? But then our team, seeing the good results of therapeutic fasting, began to treat this method quite differently, and some of them even took a course of wet fasting.
After working two years on my own, I was lucky to go once again to specialization on RDT in St. Petersburg to Professor Kokosov Alexei Nikolaevich. There I learned for the first time about absolute (dry) fasting and its application in the treatment of diseases. I had patients who underwent a course of wet fasting, and during the fasting all the symptoms of the disease disappeared, but at the end of the fasting part of the symptoms returned. For me these were unpleasant moments. I thought for a long time how to increase the effectiveness of fasting, of course, realizing that the longer the period of fasting, the better the result, but, unfortunately, there came a time when our treatment became paid, and not everyone could afford to undergo a serious course of fasting. So how to strengthen the effect of fasting within the sanatorium-resort conditions? My dog told me the way out. After she was hit by a motorcycle, she refused not only food but also water. For seven days she lay in a dark shed, and only on the eighth day she began to drink and then to eat. I thought – that’s the injury, probably swelling – she instinctively felt it, so she refused water, which saved her.
As luck would have it, after fishing I fell through the ice and had to ride my motorcycle for twenty kilometers. Accordingly, I was frozen to the bone. It was nothing, but after that I got acute frontitis (inflammation of the frontal sinus). The pain was hellish when I tilted my head down, even tears flowed from the pain. I reasoned – such pains are caused primarily by swelling, no water – no swelling. Of course, in such a situation, I think, no one would have no appetite. I decided that I would fast without water until the pains passed. Only by the fifth day all symptoms of the disease were gone, and till today they didn’t bother me anymore. It was my first dry fasting – of course, it was not difficult for me to pass it on Baikal, moreover I had experience of wet fasting. But what struck me most of all was the therapeutic effect obtained in such a short period of time. I have had patients with maxillary sinusitis and frontitis, but the therapeutic result came only after the tenth day of wet fasting.
A guy with chronic prostatitis came to us for treatment – he had already undergone fourteen days of wet fasting with me. After the fasting he felt better, but he still had exacerbations. I reasoned: in principle, prostatitis is an infectious process, any infection likes to multiply in water, any infectious process will have swelling. The guy was very serious about treatment, and he liked my arguments and convictions about dry fasting very much. He went through five days of dry fasting and five days of wet fasting. Exactly one year later he came again and said that he would not fast with water anymore, he liked the effect of dry fasting very much, he said that he had no exacerbations this year. He went through seven days of dry fasting. He called me often and was very satisfied with the result.
Of course, I was still afraid to do dry fasting for more than seven days. But I have always been lucky in life to meet interesting, unique people. For family reasons I had to leave again to Altai, and there I was offered to work in a medical center where they conducted therapeutic fasting. Once I received an invitation from Ulan-Ude to a medical conference on RDT. There were doctors practicing therapeutic fasting from all over Russia. There I managed to get acquainted with one of the authors of long dry fasting, professor of folk medicine L.A. Schennikov. He conducted eleven-day dry fasting for patients, personally he himself had undergone twenty-one-day fasting. After the conference he invited me to his place in Kislovodsk. There I got acquainted with his patients and studied his method in practice. Of course, his method is very effective, but it is very difficult for an ordinary unprepared, untrained person to go through it at once. After coming from Kislovodsk I myself passed nine days of dry fasting. Part of it I passed at home, and then I went to the Mountain Altai to the Teletskoe Lake, where I realized that serious dry fasting can be passed only in nature and preferably in the mountains and near mountain rivers. After that I passed a ten-day dry famine, but only in the Altai Mountains, and the whole famine we passed on horses on a trek. Taking into account all the disadvantages and advantages of different methods of dry fasting, based on my experience, I developed my own method of therapeutic fasting – it is called “dry fractional fasting”. We are currently practicing it.
I have been practicing therapeutic fasting for forty years. Hundreds of patients have passed through my hands. There have been very good results, but there have also been times when therapeutic fasting did not bring the desired effect. People often call me, write to me or just ask me where to start and how to make the therapeutic dry fasting have the maximum effect. Now with the development of the Internet and in it information about dry fasting began to appear. Of course, the information there is very contradictory: some people write that after two days of dry fasting cancer is cured, while others say that to begin with it is necessary to go through fifteen days of dry fasting. I believe that neither of them are wrong. Dry fasting, based on my experience, is one of the most effective methods among all types of fasting, but if not properly prepared and applied, it is fraught with serious complications. In principle, as well as other methods. Now there are many cases described when people died from banal cosmetic surgeries or from improper use of poisonous herbs. The most frustrating thing is that this method is grasped like a straw at the very last moment, when all other methods of treatment have been passed and time has been lost. But, as I always tell my patients, everything must be done in time.
This method, like all others, has its limits, indications and contraindications. Of course, in the treatment of any disease in the initial stages, it has no equal. There are many fears and myths about the very great harm of dry fasting. I do not want to belittle the role of other types of fasting and treatment. But I believe that any person should have full, reliable information and choice. But if someone decides to independently engage in their own recovery with the help of the method of therapeutic dry fasting, they should do it competently, in order to really get the maximum therapeutic effect and use all the possibilities of this method.
Our website is just for such people and is written to provide the most complete and most reliable information possible, based on the results of my years of practice and backed by feedback from my patients.
