Scientific research conducted in recent years confirms the effectiveness of using hirudotherapy for effective purification of the body. Advantage of hirudotherapy before other ways of technocratic treatment consists, first of all, in that the secret of salivary glands of a leech causes the reverse process in sphere of basic mechanisms of development of disease – ischemia and hypoxia of tissues, disorders of microcirculation, interrupts pathological chain of events in a focus of disease. Any pathological process in the human body causes a disorder of microcirculation. This leads to the accumulation of excess fluid (tissue edema), which causes an increase in intra-tissue pressure, leading to mechanical compression of vessels, this respectively worsens the blood supply of tissues, prevents the outflow of lymph and causes stagnation of intercellular fluid. This process is called a “vicious circle” in physiology. The secretion of the salivary glands of the leech contains a substance – hirudin. This biologically active substance improves rheological (fluidity) properties of blood. That allows to increase blood flow through pathologically narrowed vessels that leads to increase of oxygen supply and improvement of outflow from pathological focus. Oxidation processes are normalized, the percentage of under-oxidized slags and toxins decreases. “Vicious circle” – breaks. When there is a focus of inflammation in the body, defense mechanisms are activated, aimed at eliminating the pathological process, including the mechanism of “fencing the inflammatory focus”. This substance affects hyaluronic acid, which is the “cement” of connective tissue. Loosening connective tissue bridges, hyaluronidase contributes to the restoration of normal blood flow and lymphatic outflow. Edema, congestion, inflammation,pain, ischemia, spasticity are relieved, elevated and increased (normalized) low blood pressure is reduced. Improves blood supply, including the most vital organs – brain and spinal cord, myocardium, endocrine glands, other internal organs, musculoskeletal system (including muscles, bones and joints). Thromboses,benign tumorsand scars are dissolved, local and general immunity is increased, blood coagulation and metabolic processes (fat, carbohydrate, protein, salt, etc.) are normalized.
