Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract

Dry fasting is very effective in exacerbation of gastric and duodenal ulcers, chronic pancreatitis, cholecystitis, colitis, etc.

What is the reason for this therapeutic effect?

Inflammation cannot exist without water. Anyinflammation ofa place swells (swells with water). Only in a sufficient water environment can microorganisms such as germs and viruses multiply. Water deficiency is disastrous for inflammation. It may be recalled that, according to modern data, the cause of ulcers is infectious.

Under SG, higher concentrations of biologically active substances, hormones, immunocompetent cells and immunoglobulins in the body fluids are achieved, and theimmunostimulatorymechanism is fully activated. In such harsh conditions, it is very difficult for any infection to adapt to live without water. According to modern data, the cause of ulcers is infectious. All ulcerous changes in the GI tract in the absence of water quickly heal, and as if “dry up”, even scarring changes disappear. In my practice, patients who underwent dry fasting withGI problemsalways got a good healing result.

Naturally, the gastrointestinal tract gets the most rest during fasting. As they say, no food no problem. There is no need to secrete digestive juices, there is no need to push food through all parts of the intestine, there is no need to spend a huge amount of energy on dragging, transformation, neutralization and excretion of all those substances that come to us with food. Now all forces can be directed topurification of the organism, its restoration, and first of all to restoration of the organs engaged in digestion. Accordingly, there is a normalization and restoration of the mucosa of the stomach and 12-perestine. This is manifested by the reduction and complete disappearance of pain syndrome, nausea, heartburn, vomiting. There is scarring of fresh ulcers and resorption of scarring changes in the walls of the stomach and 12-perestine, as indicated above. Extreme conditions can not withstand the sick cells, overgrown, weak. They die and disintegrate. Thus, fasting helps to reject unnecessary, weak, sick and harmful, due to this there is a more powerful renewal of the gastrointestinal tract. Specialists from the Institute of Gastroenterology in Moscow found that patients as a result of their 28 – day therapeutic fasting in the stomach appear new cells with light-colored protoplasm, which after the end of the course are gradually transformed within 20-30 days into additional cells. These cells secrete mucus, substances that protect the stomach from damage. After repeated courses of RDT even in gastroenterological patients, stomachs become “tinned”, able to digest any food.

In dry fasting, neither water nor food enters the body. Therefore, theold, “dead water” isreplacedwith living water synthesized by the body itself. If the body does not receive food and “dead” heavy water, then in fact our blood does not receive many harmful substances. Blood is constantly cleaned by our organism, that is actually the same blood composition will be purified many times through filtering elements, that is blood will be almost perfectly clean. Consequently, all processes in our body related to blood will be performed, almost perfectly. It’s as simple as that, so our GI tract gets a great rest.

During dry fastingthere is a burning ofexo- and endotoxins, you can say, in its own furnace – each cell in the absence of water, triggers an internal thermonuclear reaction. Such a process accelerates the cleansing of the body. It removes the load from the liver and improves its work, fasting causes a mild choleretic effect, restores liver cells and GI tract. Patients with gallstone disease instinctively resort to fasting, which relieves pain syndrome and normalizes the work of the liver and gallbladder. Natural cleansing of the liver takes place – removal of unnecessary products, dissolution of stones.

Good results are also noted in the treatment of such a formidable disease as acute pancreatitis.

In the Spasokukotsky Clinic under the direction of Academician A.N. Bakulev, 275 patients with acute pancreatitis were treated with fasting. Spasokukotsky Clinic under the direction of Academician A.N. Bakulev treated 275 patients with acute pancreatitis by fasting. All of them were discharged in satisfactory condition. On the basis of this experience a conclusion was made about the expediency of using fasting in the treatment of pancreatitis. This method is now widely used in acute and chronic forms of this disease. To obtain a good therapeutic effect is usually enough 10-15 days of wet fasting or 4-5 days of dry fasting. The main principle of treatment in pancreatitis – removal of painful syndrome, elimination of shock, collapse, providing functional rest of the pancreas, elimination of intoxication.

In my practice there were few patients with diabetes mellitus, because in diabetes of the second type wet fasting helps very well. Here is what one of the coryphees of therapeutic fasting, Dr. Voytovich, writes about it. G. A:

Since diabetes is a disease of nervous and endocrine nature, treatment with dosed fasting should naturally produce positive results here as well,” was our conclusion. Besides, we knew from foreign sources that doctors in the West, in Japan and, especially, in India have long included diabetes among the diseases indicated for treatment by fasting. However, in the practice of our department we rarely met with this disease. Only after the All-Union symposiums on RDT, when doctors from Armenia, Odessa and other places reported about successful cure of even severe forms ofdiabetesby dosed fasting, we began to study this question more closely. We were especially interested in the method applied in Yerevan, where patients with severe form of diabetes, with large excess weight, with gangrenous leg ulcers were treated quite successfully with several courses of RDT for 11 days, while keeping the intake of hormonal drugs, but reducing their amount by 5-10 times. At the first stage we had only a few people, not severely diabetic, who did not use insulin. In the process of treatment with dosed fasting their blood sugar content decreased; during the recovery period it increased again, but did not go far beyond the norm. The general condition of the patients became better: weakness, itching, thirst and increased appetite disappeared. One patient with primary diabetes was completely cured, and no relapse has been observed for over 25 years.

Doctor Sarkisyan from the Endocrine Diseases Clinic in Yerevan conducted two and three times fasting courses of 10-11 days for critically ill patients. One patient was threatened with amputation due to gangrene of the foot. After two courses of 11 days all diabetic indices (sugar in urine, blood, etc.) improved sharply, gangrenous inflammation stopped completely, the need for amputation of the leg was eliminated, the patient began to walk freely”.

Apart from fasting, there is no other method in which there is virtually no load on the digestive organs. Therefore, it is not surprising that it is so effective in a variety of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. One can only wonder at the ignorance of our medicine, which instead of effective, fast, cheap treatment uses expensive drugs, lengthy examinations, surgical interventions, which not only do not lead to the cure of the patient, but also make it a chronic, living an incomplete life and forever tied to the services of doctors. Therefore, take responsibility for your health in your own hands, start fasting, and you will regain your lost appetite, excellent digestion and good, regular stools.
